Cabinet frame

Cabinet frame is the basic skeletal structure of a cabinet (e.g., kitchen cabinet, wardrobe, storage cabinet). It serves as the main load-bearing component, defines the cabinet’s shape, and provides the foundation for installing other parts like doors, back panels, and drawers. In the furniture industry, there are two main construction types: Framed Cabinets and Frameless Cabinets. Framed kitchen cabinet (Framed Cabinet) và Frameless construction (Frameless Cabinet).

The image above illustrates the fundamental difference between the two main types of cabinet structures:

1. Framed Cabinet: You can see a wooden frame (face frame) attached to the front of the cabinet box. This frame creates a border around the cabinet opening and is where the doors are mounted.
2. Frameless construction : This type does not have a face frame. It is a simple box structure, and the doors are mounted directly onto the side panels of the cabinet, which maximizes space and creates a seamless look.
